Doctor Visit Card

As you may be aware in 2023 the government announced the expansion of free GP care to all children under the age of 8 and and to households earning below the new median income threshold.


Eligible current practice patients can now apply as follows:

  • If your child is aged 6 or 7, you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card.

  • If your household earns below the median income (€47,000 per year after deductibles) you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card.

About Parkhouse Family Practice

Parkhouse Family Practice is a GP surgery located in Jobstown, Tallaght. Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and parking is available directly outside the surgery.

​

Our practice has grown rapidly because of our professional, patient-focused service and outstanding performance. Our aim is to continue to maintain these standards and to adapt to the needs of our patients. 

​

We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups. We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD. 

 

Our aim is to provide high quality, evidence based, patient centred care. We want to engage and empower you to achieve the very best health outcomes for you. We are an LGBT+ friendly practice.
